Blue Room

This room served as:
  • George Washington's bedroom from 1775-1776
  • Henry Longfellow's bedroom when he boarded in the House
  • Henry and Fanny's bedroom for the first year of their marriage
  • A bedroom for several of the Longfellow children, including young Fanny Longfellow, who died here at the age of eighteen months.
  • Alice Longfellow's guest room
  • A guest room used by visiting family members and boarders
