Tiled fireplace
Fireplace and tiles

Around the fireplace are eighteenth-century Liverpool woodblock-printed fireplace tiles. These were made between 1761 and 1770.
In the angled area (jambs) are Dutch biblical tiles.

Because the original larger fireplace was reduced in size, two different types of tiles were used.

All of the paneling around the fireplace is original.
